Hilde Coeckx
Hilde Coeckx focuses her practice on the preparation and prosecution of patent applications and related counseling. She works closely with foreign firms but also works with entrepreneurial individuals, start-ups, midsized companies, and Fortune 500 companies. Hilde holds a BS in Chemical Engineering and a Master of Science (MS) in Biochemistry and Molecular Biology. She received her JD from Lewis and Clark Law School. She is licensed to practice in Oregon and registered as a patent attorney with the U.S. Patent and Trademark Office. Hilde began her patent career as a trainee at an intellectual property firm in Belgium. She has prosecuted hundreds of patent applications in a wide variety of technologies, including consumer products, mechanical devices, healthcare-related devices, optical devices, wireless communication systems, renewable energy-related systems, and automotive technologies. She is a member of the American Intellectual Property Association (AIPLA), National Association of Patent Practitioners (NAPP), and Oregon Patent Law Association. Hilde’s native language is Dutch. She is also conversant in German and French.
